# Union Printing Trades

A public register of union and allied printing shops. Every entry records who verified it, on what basis, and when. Issues no label of its own.

## Status
- **The register** — Shop, local, what they hold, who verified, when. Free to be listed and free to read (`NOT YET`)
- **The vetting standard** — Published and versioned — what a verification actually checked, so the entry is falsifiable (`NOT YET`)
- **Verification workflow** — A tradesman reviews the shop. The record carries their name and the date, not an algorithm's word (`NOT YET`)
- **Re-verification clock** — Every entry ages. An unrefreshed record degrades to 'stale' in public rather than sitting there looking true (`NOT YET`)
- **Buyer sourcing** — Send one spec to the shops that match. Routes to the placement rail at printshop.link (`NOT YET`)
- **Local / council view** — A local's own vetted supplier list, under the local's name, drawn from the same register (`NOT YET`)
